    @shaneryanbenton

you have to remember something, the term VEGETARIAN is so obscure and Vague its almost meaningless anymore.

a person can ‘ technically’ be a Vegetarian , which simply means to not eat Meat, and be consuming soda, chips and Junk food all day long.

NO ONE would say thats a healthy diet yet its still Vegetarian in the technical term cuz that person aint eating meat.

so the term has no Meaning, whats more important is SPECIFICS, not vague general terms

a High quality Whole wheat bread from your local health food store is a GREAT transition food on your Journey to better health and a cleaner diet.

Enjoy it if you are craving it now, its still a million times healthier for you than 90 % of crap most Americans eat !

  8. screenflicker1 on March 8th, 2010 at 3:25 am

That is exactly what we’ve been doing lately, 3x a week. Our recipe is pretty much fixed, -Celery, Carrots, Apple, Oranges, Ginger, Cilantro, Parsely, Grapes and Beet root. Yum! We can’t afford organic at this point though

thats good, great job ! i know its not easy and its tempting to get down and want the ideal of having as much money as you need to do this full on , but its ok if you dont, many of us are in a similar position as you are or we have been at one time, its cool

Just remember to vary it up a bit and rotate your greens and you’ll be in great shape , bravo to u and your efforts

You are right. That was three months ago when I wrote that comment and I now am mostly raw, and have a lot more veggies now along with the regular fruits. (I also haven’t eaten meat in 2 months. ;D) This is, indeed, a Journey and it’s all about moving up one level at a time and gaining insight and awareness along the way.

Glad to know that, Dan. I just finished helping my dad plant a few rows of spinach in our garden outside!

  12. I always drink the pulp with the juice. Sometimes it’s really mushy but you get used to it and after a while it even tastes yummy.

  13. liferegenerator on March 10th, 2010 at 3:52 pm

@futuraven That’s fine, but wanted to point out for passersby who may be reading this, that in the context of a healing modality the point of juicing is to remove the fiber so that your body absorbs the nutrients in the juice without the fiber to slow down or block the absorption. So it would be more ideal to drink a fresh juice on an empty stomach, while having your whole food meals and snacks a couple of hours apart from when you drink that juice–as fiber is still of course good for you too!

  14. Oh, I had no idea that the fiber in the pulp was detrimental to the absorption of nutrients. Thanks for sharing.

  15. You should totally be on the food network. Great vids

  16. Hey Dan. Can you do a 360 with the cam sometime and show us the surroundings of where u are

  17. dimmuborgir82 on March 25th, 2010 at 5:14 am

dude i respect some the stuff you say but you almost think too much near to the point you probably don’t enjoy things lol

  18. liferegenerator on March 25th, 2010 at 7:26 am

@dimmuborgir82 On the contrary my friend, I actually never think! It is very easy to be myself though! Watch some of my other videos and you will see a man who actually enjoys this human experience quite a bit more than the average…. :D

  19. I think your inspirational!

  20. you make my soul smile.

  21. @liferegenerator I was on the fence about juicing or not, mainly because I thought it was wasteful not to use the pulp. Could you do a post covering the why’s and why nots about juicing. I’m goining to start off slow and cheap with a box store juicer! can you recomend some other mixtures of fruits, veg and herbs.. Thanks

  22. Your awesome Brotha!!! Keep riding the Force Dan… Your a Jedi Knight!!!

  23. TheGlobalGamer on May 11th, 2010 at 11:49 pm

I subscribe because you are an inspiration :) thank you I just found out about the Raw food diet and I’ll be starting first thing in the morning by making a fruit or vegetable smoothie, and a glass of water thank you.

Are you talking about 2012? Or how to get happy? I just want the recipe for the green juice, then maybe I’ll get to where you are? and be more thoughtful, right now I’d settle for thin…

  25. 15 bucks on a crappy meal…..then another 30 bucks on bottles of medicine to make you function……I’ll spend the 10 bucks.
